This review aims to identify existing gaps, implement best practices, and create a work environment that promotes respect and equality for all employees, regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
-
First Responder Agencies and the LGBTQ+ Community
To assess and enhance the existing protocols, training, and engagement strategies of first responder agencies to better serve LGBTQ+ individuals as first responder agencies, including police, fire, and emergency medical services (EMS), play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of all community members. It is imperative that these agencies foster an environment of inclusivity, respect, and understanding, particularly when interacting with the LGBTQ+ community.

-
Supporting LGBTQ+ Youth & Future First Responders
To establish a Coalition dedicated to LGBTQ+ representation, serving as role models for youth and teens, while focusing on future career recruitment, community engagement and outreach, and fostering a positive impact.
