Emergency medical services (EMS) from 18 fire rescue departments and private ambulance companies are provided to hospitals within Broward County and surrounding counties for over 1.94 million residents.
The Broward Multi-Agency Pride Coalition continually works to provide training, review protocols, and address policies and practices related to the equity and inclusion of their LGBTQ+ patients.
