Officer Cristina Beltrani is a 12-year Police Officer with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department. Prior to her service with Fort Lauderdale, Officer Beltrani worked for the Broward Sheriff’s Office as a Communications Operator and Police Dispatcher. During her tenure with Fort Lauderdale, she has served in the Patrol Division in all three districts of the city. Officer Beltrani serves as part of the Recruiting Team and became a liaison for the department’s LGBTQ+ Liaison unit in 2018. Officer Beltrani took over as the Lead Liaison position of the unit in 2023. Officer Beltrani attends several community events as a Liaison of the city.

Officer Beltrani recently achieved her certification as a Florida General Instructor and is currently working alongside her wife, Heather, who is an Investigator with the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, towards developing department classes for LGBTQ+ Awareness and Hate Crimes training. Officer Beltrani joined the Broward Multi-Agency Pride Coalition in 2022 and was voted in as Secretary for the Coalition in March of 2024.
